Janis Vaile Biography

Janis Vaile is a singer/songwriter and author of the children’s book “Max Relax! A Dog’s Happy Day!” . She is also an early development educator who provides music programs to children and adults. Her songs have been used in television movies and can be found on iTunes.

Janis offers a wide range of programs and services – from individual music lessons, school programs, enrichment programs, mommy and me classes, book readings, birthday parties and more. She prides herself in nurturing children’s self-esteem while instructing her music programs.

She has written numerous children’s songs that she integrates into her music programs along with old standards that children are familiar with and love.

Prior to establishing her position as a music educator, Janis earned a degree in environmental Biology, and is a mother of two. She has spent many years as a freelance music educator for Pre K to 8^th grades and is a teacher for Guitars in the Classroom, a non profit whose mission is to bring music back into school classrooms.

Janis’s parents were owners of a jewelry shop in Chicago Illinois. Her mother was a sought after pearl re-stringer and father a watchmaker. She has made jewelry since she was very young.

Janis feels that the most important aspect of her work is to promote the emotional well being of children.
