PEMA means Lotus Flower: Just as the Lotus leaves and flowers rise above the water's surface while its roots are anchored to the pond bed, so will the gift of music help keep your child grounded as he or she reach for higher levels of creativity and achievement
Music has been shown to effect positive changes in the psychological, physical, cognitive, and social functioning of individuals.
Program Outline
Duration: Six or eight 1 hour sessions (Sessions can be extended)
Class size: "One on one" or buddy class
Time: Arranged
Location: Woodland Hills or come to you (travel charge)
Cost: $65.00 per class
Active engagement with dozens of instruments
Musical instrument creations to take home
Creative drawing projects (While listening to and analyzing musical pieces)
Attention given to the individuality of the student and their specific style of learning
Encouragement of self-expression of thoughts and feelings.
This class is a non-practice program designed to nurture the love of music void of any pressure to produce results outside of the classroom environment. Families may choose to extend the program or transition into more traditional piano, guitar, or ukulele lessons. These lessons will give a more direct instruction of the chosen instrument and will require at home practice. They will continue to prioritize the child's individual learning style and interests.

Cancelation and Payment Policy
If you are unable to attend a class, please notify at least 48 hours before the class is scheduled to take place for a credit for a future class.
If cancelation occurs within 48 hours of the class, we will credit for a future class less a $15 fee.
If cancelation occurs the day of the class we will credit for a future class less a $25 fee.
Cancelation fee will be waived, as a courtesy, one time per 8 week session as long as you notify at least one hour before class.
If at any time you cannot make it to class, but you don't notify in advance, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
